Two fortunate lottery players from Quebec have transformed their lives after winning substantial lottery prizes. Sylvain Leclerc from Montreal and Martin Gauthier from Abitibi-Témiscamingue will enjoy financial security for life with their winnings.
Canadian Lottery Winners Secure $1,000 Daily for Life
Martin Gauthier purchased his Grand Vie lottery ticket on September 11 while running errands at a Boni-Soir convenience store, also known as Dépanneur Chez Steph, in Normétal. After asking the clerk for the results, he quickly recognized his winning numbers. With a daily award of $1,000 for life, Gauthier plans to buy an all-terrain vehicle.
Sylvain Leclerc also celebrated a major win, discovering he had secured $1,000 daily for life in the Grand Vie lottery on August 28. He checked his ticket using the Loto-Québec app. The first person to learn of his victory was his spouse, although the moment brought Leclerc to tears as he processed the news. He purchased his winning ticket at the Jean Coutu pharmacy located on Rue Victoria in Lachine. Leclerc intends to use his winnings to buy a house and fulfill a personal promise by attending a relative’s wedding in the Caribbean.
