Details of the Discovery

On September 5, authorities were alerted to a suspicious package located near Windmill Ranch Road. A local resident reported that they believed the package contained a deceased individual.

Witness Accounts

  • Another witness reported seeing a truck parked near the site, its trunk open, the night before the box was found.
  • The witness could not identify the truck due to darkness.

Victim Identification

The deceased was identified as 57-year-old Carolyn Ann Bosher, a resident of Las Vegas. Her identity was confirmed through fingerprint analysis.

Investigation Updates

Detectives from the Mohave County Sheriff’s Office, in collaboration with the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department, are actively investigating the case. They discovered that Bosher had been arrested for indecent exposure just six days prior to the discovery of her body.

At the crime scene, there was no evidence to suggest that Bosher was murdered there. The authorities continue to pursue leads in this ongoing investigation.
