U.S. Treasurer Brandon Beach shared this information on social media platform X, stating that these images are early drafts. Additional details about the coin are expected following the resolution of the ongoing government shutdown.

These commemorative coins will be minted under the Circulating Collectible Coin Redesign Act of 2020. This act permits the Treasury to issue $1 coins with designs representing the U.S. semiquincentennial starting January 1, 2026.
Notably, this isn’t Trump’s first involvement in America 250 celebrations. In June, he led a contentious military parade in Washington, D.C. This event coincided with his 79th birthday.
