Drew Benvie, the CEO of social media consultancy Battenhall, suggests that Snap is not alone in this shift. He believes that all social media platforms may eventually implement storage fees. “The road to paying for storage on social media is inevitable,” he stated.
According to Benvie, as fewer users post content but save more, the evolution towards paid storage solutions is becoming increasingly apparent across social media platforms.
