Hallmark Media Expands Output Deal with Netflix (Exclusive)

Hallmark Media has announced an expanded output deal with Netflix, enhancing the range of content available to users. This partnership will provide Hallmark’s beloved holiday movies to Netflix users outside the United States and introduce new series content to U.S. subscribers.
Details of the New Deal
The collaboration builds upon last year’s agreement, which successfully added ten Hallmark Christmas movies to Netflix. This previous partnership resulted in increased viewership for both Hallmark Channel and Hallmark+. According to Jesse Wallace, Senior Vice President of Distribution at Hallmark Media, the impact of the initial deal was positive. Wallace stated, “Hallmark was pleased with our linear viewership and Hallmark+ engagement and subscriber growth after the Netflix deal.”
Upcoming Content for Netflix
The new output deal offers a variety of exciting content:
- The first two seasons of the Hallmark series The Way Home will be available on Netflix in the U.S. next month.
- Season three is scheduled for release in February 2026, followed by season four later that same year.
- An array of Valentine’s Day-themed movies will debut in January 2026, including titles such as:
- An Unexpected Valentine
- Sisterhood, Inc.
- The Royal We
- Hats Off to Love
- Love in the Clouds
Wallace emphasized Hallmark’s commitment to delivering joy through its content, stating, “We remain committed to our core mission to spread joy and positivity with our acclaimed movies and episodic content.”
International Expansion
Moreover, this expanded agreement will roll out Hallmark’s Christmas movies to select international markets starting in November. This promotional period will last until January and will feature titles such as:
- Haul Out the Holly
- Haul Out the Holly: Lit Up
- All I Need for Christmas
- Christmas Under the Lights
- Our Holiday Story
Wallace remarked on the excitement surrounding the deal, stating, “The teams are thrilled to bring Hallmark content to Netflix subscribers around the world.” Additionally, the collaboration aims to enhance Hallmark’s presence in international markets through established broadcaster relationships.
With this expanded output deal, Hallmark Media is poised to strengthen its brand while diversifying content access for fans globally. The strategic windowing approach will likely benefit both Hallmark’s linear channels and its streaming service, Hallmark+.
