The Huajiang Grand Canyon Bridge rises 2,050 feet above the Beipan River, standing as a testament to modern engineering capabilities. Spanning nearly 10,000 feet in length, it features a main span measuring approximately 5,000 feet.
Construction and Impact on Travel Time
After three years of construction, this impressive bridge has dramatically reduced travel time across the mountainous region. Commutes that once took two hours can now be completed in just two minutes.

In comparison, the previous titleholder for the world’s tallest bridge was the Millau Viaduct in France, which reaches nearly 1,000 feet above the Tarn River and spans 8,070 feet.
