This initiative stems from Florida’s Schools of Hope program, designed to offer more educational choices outside the traditional public school framework. Schools of Hope, established in 2017, empowers state-approved nonprofit charter school networks to utilize local resources for opening charter schools in regions with underperforming public schools.
